White Lupine

Naturally, my up close one of the leaves. Notice how it looks like the water would fall between the leaves, but it is still there. And how the water acted as a magnifier.

Were these photos taken in the Spring? I have pink lupine but love your white! The water drop is interesting.
Did you see on my blog that bird girl IDed the orange butterfly as a Fritillary? Don't know which one, there are many.

I bought this plant in late June, the bud was forming when I bought it. The earlier post I have of Lupine were blooming in May in NC. Not sure when the ones I bought should bloom, you know how the bud can be forced when you first get it. This has been the only bloom this year on any of the plants I bought.
