The photographs of the Spicebush Swallowtail speak for themself.

It was fun to follow him around.

I love the third pic with the contrast between the color of the butterfly and the zinnia.

So beautiful! I'm thrilled for you that you get to see so many butterflies. My mom & I saw one in the backyard the other day and I ran out to try to ID it. I didn't grab the camera because I figured it would fly off. It didn't stay long, but I did get a chance to be pretty sure it was an Unsilvered Fritillary which are very rare, but just a few miles away is a wonderful habitat where they are found.

I forgot to look up your unknown butterfly last night in my guide book. I'll try to remember tonight :)

What a beautiful butterfly. And your photos certainly did it justice. It must have taken a lot of patience to get such great shots. Thanks for sharing.
