Macro of Hardy Hibiscus

Macro of a hardy hibiscus.I was minding my own business, trying to concentrate when along came this bee or insect. Not sure what this green thing is.

Beautiful pictures. Love the little bee that came along!
What kind of camera do you use? And your macro lens? I got my first marco lens last month and have been having such a fun time with it. Don't know if I am using it exactly right, I really need to take a class or two on the DSLR. This is my first one. Have had Kodak point and shoots before.
Take care and keep up the great photo taking!

Sara G -- I have a Canon Rebel XTi, my macro is a Canon 100mm Macro lens. It has taken some getting used to, due to the small focus area it is so different than macro on my Fuji point and shoot. But it also does so much better at blurring everything else in the photo.

Hi Leedra,
WOW! I'm blown away by your blog! There is so much to see. I love macros of flowers and this one has a little extra attraction. I'll be back!
