Sunrise at Newfound Gap in GSMNP

These photographs were taken this past Monday morning at Newfound Gap in the Smokey Mountain National Park.
The colors are beautiful, but I don't think they are at their peak yet.

Good morning Leedra,
These are beautiful! I'm sure there will be more color just a little later. I envy your being so close to those mountains!!!

GSMNP has to be one of the most beautiful places to visit in the fall, especially when the foliage is at its peak. Thanks for sharing, Leedra. It has brought back memories of my visit a few years ago.
