Palmer Chapel was the only church in the cove. The land was deeded by Mary Ann Palmer in 1898. The booklet says the church was built the same year, but notice the sign.

Ends out the front was facing the creek, and the old road follow the stream.

How serene to have the Church facing a creek. These would be cool in sepia too.
I love the last shot of the church...just beautiful.
The pictures my son took, he's 10. We got him his digital camera for his 9th birthday. This was the first year he used it for nature stuff, usually he's snapping away at his baby brother or sister. lol
Those photos of the church are so peaceful. I really enjoy all the pictures on your blog, they all tell a great story.
