Dragonflies in Cades Cove

Finally went to Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on Labor Day. I was hoping to see bear. Saw one Mama bear and her triplets. But there was a man hollering "there's the Mama and her babies", over and over. Needless to say, I was not fast enough because they were running in the opposite direction. I did get these dragonfly photos. I also got some other photos I will be sharing.

Those are very cool, I guess the man hollering ran off the bears.

Cades Cove is so pretty. I have been there a few times! Seen some deer and some bears. People get real stupid around the wildlife at times!
Did you ride the paddle boat at Lake Mead? I did that a couple years ago and it was really cool. Used to camp at the lake when I was a teenager!
Thanks for all the nice comments!

Lovely dragonfly photos...there are so many types of dragonflies and damselflies. I love seeing the different ones, and these are so interesting!

Wow, Leedra, these photos are great. Thanks for visiting my blog. I am a rank amateur with photography - still don't know an f-stop from a bus stop, but I'm learning. Hope to get up to this level some day!
