Fall Colors in Roane County

I took these photos on Monday while I was running errands involved with buying the new house close to Jimmy's work. The top 2 photos are in Rockwood, Tennessee.
The last 2 are in Harriman, Tennessee. Went to Harriman looking for the courthouse, ends out the courthouse is in Kingston. We had a good laugh out of that one.

Leedra, you are so close to me--I can almost touch you!!! All you have to do is to come up the mountain to the plateau!!!! We go through Harriman/Kingston on I-40 when we go to Knoxville. Sometimes we go on 70 up the mountain. It's a great drive. From Spring City, go up Highway 68 to get to us!!!!! The colors are fabulous RIGHT NOW...

Leedra: Wonderful captures of the changing to the fall colors. I have been taking photos but just haven't been posting them.

Betsy - I am at work now, I work evening shift. I was at Cumberland Mtn State Park at 8 Eastern this morning. Also went by Ozone Falls. The colors are better in the valley right now than they are on the plateau. I do have some from this morning ready for posting already. Had a bluebird put on a show for me in the park.

I don't hike, due to my arthritis, Ozone was more than I should have done, especially by myself.
