Fall Colors at Newfound Gap - GSMNP

These photographs were taken on October 22, 2008 at Newfound Gap in the

Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Can see why they are called the GSMNP the blue ridge mountains.

Grammy said...: Great photo thanks for sharing. You were so lucky to find a way to get the gap. When I go to Wv. It is not easy to get this type of shot. You have to wait till trees are bare and then it is not as beautiful as yours.

The colours are wonderful.
