Barn Swallows at Veterans Park

Barn Swallows at Veterans Park in Spring City, Tennessee. We enjoyed walking around this park, and there are more photos from the stroll in the coming days.

First the Eastern Kingbird, then the Barn Swallows come. It is getting more interesting in the back yard everyday. I love the way they all line up together, with the same distance between each bird.

Unlike the Hummingbirds, these Barn Swallows also at Perry's Water Gardens did not care about me at all. They just stared back at me (2nd & 4th photo). I think they knew there was too much pond between them and me. I wasn't going to wade through that, but they might would have still stayed right where they were. I never did see them fly.
