Collage of a zinnia bud

The zinnia buds are so unusual. That black just looks out of place. I love it, so I just keep taking photographs of the buds. Please visit the original post at Leedra's Photos For Fun.
The original post is the life cycle of the zinnia.

Leedra: What a neat capture of the Zinnia from start to finish. Nice tip about the butterfly.

I really love those "bud" photos - such intricate details.

Great photos, zinnias are one of my favorites too. You certainly do not know what color or size you will get out of a packet of zinnia seed, that's part of the fun!

Love the progression, Leedra. I would never think about doing that!!!! I'm learning so much from you great photographers!!! Zinnias were one of my mother's favorite flowers. She had them in the yard in our homeplace in VA... She died in 1991--so I miss her and her flowers!
