How blue is that sky?!

Great contrast. I don't think I have ever seen that bird. Not sure we have them here.

A handsome fellow! I'm trying to compare him to my black capped chickadee and I daresee it seems like you guy has a little more black. I'll have to examine this further!

I'm jealous -- how did you get him to pose for you? You always get such good pictures!

Leedra: Those guys are so cute but they don't sit still.

Great pictures, Leedra. We have Carolina Chickadees also. The Black-capped ones are similar --but don't visit our area. (Well--I said the same thing about Pine Siskins--and I have lots of them! ha)

I can't wait to see my first Carolina Chickadee when we move to Alabama Leedra. I'll be sad to say goodbye to my Black-capped but as long as I get to here some kind of "dee dee" I'll be happy!
