I know Canada geese can be pesky and dirty but it surely doesn't take away from their beauty. I love the motion of the water's ripples.

Leedra, beautiful pictures of the goose. You need to let us know the next time you're in our neck of the woods!

Hi Leed, I love all of the pictures --but the first one seems to 'strike my fancy' the most!!!!

By the way, George and I both have computers. We both had them BEFORE we got married--so of course, having one computer was NEVER an option. We are all synced together --with a router, and are usually both on the 'puter at the same time!!! Works well for us!!!

Beautiful photos Leedra! I'm from Canada and I love Canadian Geese - here in Washington, we live under one of their migration freeways - hundreds go back and forth every year! Did you know they mate for life?

Great photos. I always think these geese look a little like swans.

Great shots of the geese, we got lots of those around these parts, always good for a great photo.

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers!

Nice series. I like how you caught the water not quite dripping off his bill in the third frame. Just hanging there. (It's okay, you can go ahead and call me weird... I just pick out little things like that to get excited about.)

We have those guys all over the place down here -- especially this time of year. Apparently Raleigh is a layover for the Great Canada Goose Airways shuttle connector.

The Canada Goose always feels like an old friend that travels with me where ever I go. Its embedded within my soul, I suppose.

Hello Leedra. Thanks for visiting my blog. I see you have some very interesting things on yours but have the same difficulty in identifying some of the insects as I do. :)
