Hello Leedra, beautiful spring flowers. This is the best time of the year, everything comes to life including me. The question you asked about Shane not using the Bobwhite on his site, well I guess the best answer is his age. He wanted a site, made it himself but does not keep up with it. I do not want to bug him about it and come across as nagging. But I did want to share the bird with everyone else so I put it up on mine. Thanks for stopping by, Brad.
Brad - Thanks, I understand about not nagging, it is one of those "not important things" so let him do his own thing about posting. I have him setup to follow so when/if he does post again I will see it. He does an excellent job, hope he does continue to use his ability, whether he blogs right now or not. Blogging is time consuming, and his time could probably be better used other ways (including out getting more photography experience).
Leedra, wow I can smell them here. Spring is finally here, so hopefully we will get some spring flowers too.... btw what a nice blog you have here. Anna :)

I am a Christian wife, mother and grandmother. I have 2 grown married children, 5 grandsons, and 2 granddaughters. I have been a photographer over 40 years, receiving my first camera when I was 12 or 13 years old. I am always passionate about the craft that I am currently involved in. My husband tolerates my passions quite well, whether it is my photography, stained glass or knitting. I started digital photography in 2007, and started selling my photography at that time. I began selling my knitting in 2009, and needle felting in 2010. I began designing knit patterns in 2009, but did not begin selling them until 2011. I also enjoy flower gardening, birding and x-stitch. Leedra's Photos For Fun sometimes shows these other interest. Photography By Leedra is always my photography, but it is not posted as often as Leedra's Photos For Fun. Heirloom Goods blog is about what is going on at Heirloom Goods, not just my creations, it sometimes includes Jimmy's creations.

I used to live where lilac grew. You vividly reminded me of this. Thanks.
and I love the smell in the air as I have a long windbreak of them in my backyard. They are also my cue when the bloom to start searching for morels!
Hi Leedra, your lilacs are exquisite. Wonderful images.
This is my favorite spring flower for the beautiful aroma. I have 17 bushes and they're just now starting to bloom.
Beautiful work :-)
