I found the name of this daffodil in the Breck's catalog.

The catalog called it the Original Poet's Daffodil.

Not sure if original goes with the name or if they are

Have so many photographs of zinnia blooms decided to make collages of them.

This is a Foxglove, although I could not remember the name when I first posted this photo.

About the time I think they are all gone, then I see one. This skipper was in my yard on Friday afternoon.

Surprise Lily

This is a non-hardy Surprise Lily. This has to be planted in a pot and taken in during the cold months. The good part about it is you put the pot in the dark and don't water it at all. Early spring bring it out to the light and start watering it. The green part stays all summer, until fall and you start the cycle again. I have 2 pots of these. They bloom off and on all summer. This was given to me by an 89 year old lady the year before she died.

Pipevine Swallowtails in Cataloochee Cove - GSMNP

These Pipevine Swallowtails were so vibrant in flight. I thought they were Spicebush until I got home and started going through the photographs.
