They were taken one week ago. The color was at it's peak in the valley, but up on the mountain the colors had already passed their peak.
I moved to the other side of the water and found this sign.
And then made a photograph of the bridge from this side.
the mirror reflections of the bridge are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful. I still think the colors are great and the reflections in the glassy water are spectacular! :-)
ReplyDeleteThose bridge pictures are super. They belong on a calendar or even framed and hung on a wall.
ReplyDeleteThe water is so clear and calm! And the reflection is stunning. ;-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color and I love the mirror images of the bridges.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting bridge! I really love the second picture, but they are all beautiful!

OK, Leedra, you and your photos are making it more difficult for me to decide what time of year to come down there for a vacation:). These colors are stunning!
ReplyDeleteI can't get over how perfectly still the water looks, and the colors are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful these are, lovely series Leedra. Great photos, all of them.
ReplyDeleteThe first and last images have awesome reflections!
ReplyDeleteStill enough color there to make really nice photos.
what a beautiful set of photos! I guess the water is so clear that the reflection of the bridge is like being reflected in a mirror.
ReplyDeleteHappy Autumn outthere!

Love the pictures of the bridge---with the reflection in the water. They did a great job of re-doing this bridge (keeping it the same as it was before). That road was closed for months and months.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!
