  26. Your pictures of the Great Smoky Mountains are excellent. I hiked the Appalachian Trail back in 2000 and I enjoyed walking through the park very much. Your photos inspire me to revisit the Park during the Autumn Season. Thank you for the wonderful comments at my Photoblog Site. I'll be visiting again soon.

  27. Very beautiful series! I love that name, "Newfound Gap".....cool! We don't have gaps here in Iowa. Happy SkyWatching!

  28. Great photo thanks for sharing. You were so lucky to find a way to get the gap. When I go to Wv. It is not easy to get this type of shot. You have to wait till trees are bare and then it is not as beautiful as yours.
    Happy skywatch friday!

  37. These are lovely photographs for SWF and you have a skill with composition and angles.Thank you for sharing them.
    The colours are wonderful.
I also like that the ground mantle is so slight, as to only soften the ground shape underneath. It allows one to see how strong the land is.

  38. Beautiful fall colors. We get some nice yellows, but not many reds (except trees that people plant in their yards).
