Never have understood these flowers being called Black Eyed Susuans. The center looks dark brown to me.
Either way, I have always liked them. They look really good with Coneflowers and dark daylilies. I only have a small batch now, hope to have more next year.

I think the center is brown too. You will probably have many more next year! They look great.
