A handsome fellow! I'm trying to compare him to my black capped chickadee and I daresee it seems like you guy has a little more black. I'll have to examine this further!
Great pictures, Leedra. We have Carolina Chickadees also. The Black-capped ones are similar --but don't visit our area. (Well--I said the same thing about Pine Siskins--and I have lots of them! ha) Hugs, Betsy
I can't wait to see my first Carolina Chickadee when we move to Alabama Leedra. I'll be sad to say goodbye to my Black-capped but as long as I get to here some kind of "dee dee" I'll be happy!
